EXPERT on RUSSIA, express online course

Q1. Is it always cold in Russia?
No, it's just not that warm as in Europe or US;
see also [Q3]

Q2. Do white bears walk
on streets of Russian cities?

Yes, often met by people
who have drunk too much vodka [Q3]

Q3. Do Russians start they days with vodka?
Yes, when it's really cold [Q1], and when they want to see some white bears [Q2]
Q4. What is the national wealth of Russia?
Vodka [Q3], white bears [Q2],
snow [Q1], Russian chicks [Q5]
Q5. Are all Russian girls beautiful like Kournikova?
Oh, yes. Girls just have to be, to distract men's attention from the eternal values of drinking vodka [Q3] together with white bears [Q2] when it's cold [Q1]
Q6. Is Russia big?
Where it is located? On a globe,
it's located between Finland and China,
the North Pole and Iraq.
Q7. What is the Russian language and alphabet?
Russia is so big [Q6], that in order to protect the land, an impossibly difficult language and
hard-mutated-from-Latin alphabet were invented.
We are topped only by China and Japan.
Q8. What is the main secret
of Russian economy?

We sell some black liquid and some bad-smelling gas to gullible Western people, and they buy this crap like crazy, so we can concetrate on [Q3] and [Q5]. Pssst, don't tell anyone!

Q9. Should I go to Russia?
Try your luck. But there is a risk, that you might enjoy drinking [Q3] in company of [Q5] and [Q2]. Some Western people even live in Russia, and exchange their experiences in local English newspapers. Russia is and addictive thing!

Q10. Are you serious?
Yes. The more of you stay home, the more [Q3] and [Q5] is left for us. Hope you are frightened enough to never think about Russian trip ;)

Congratulations, you have completed Russian EXPERT course,
download and print your certificate, and sign your name on it!

Shuvalovka, the Russian village
http://www.shuvalovka.ru

I was invited to Shuvalovka end-of-year party and now I have
a chance to tell you about my impressions. Shuvalovka (goes from name of Count Shuvalov, owner of the premises) is a new attraction in St. Petersburg. It's Russian village built between Peterhof fountains and Strelna residence of President Putin. Shuvalovka occupies large piece of land, and consists of dozen of wooden buildings, reconstructed according to traditions of XVIII and XIX centuries. You can watch folklore programs Peasant's Seated Gathering and Village Wedding. You can take master classes in Russian traditional crafts, and taste dozens of various Russian vodka based drinks. And there is more to entertain you - mini-hotel, restaurant, gift shop, Russian Santa post office, horseback riding and even shooting range - paintball guns and catapults. But I made only this row of vodka shots (see below) and I think it was good shooting. If you would like to see Shuvalovka during your upcoming Russian trip, tell us about.
