The four-star hotel "Cosmos" was opened in 1979. Its construction was intended to cater the XXII Moscow Olympics in 1980. This horseshoe-like hotel has been built by French and Yugoslavian specialists not far from the historic center of Moscow. After some renovations, this hotel became one of the Moscow's symbols.
