Hotel Izmailovo
The hotel is located next to a metro station. It will take
about twenty minutes for you to get to Red Square, the Kremlin
and all the other fascinating places in Moscow. The Hotel
is also close to the well-known Weekend Market for Tourists
where you will be able to get your Russian souvenirs. The
"Vernisage" as it is known operates on Saturdays
and Sundays throughout the year and prices are actually better
in comparison to other tourist venues in Moscow.
The Hotel is situated in one of Moscow's ecologically clean
areas with several parks in the vicinity. The Izmailovo Hotel
offers modest, clean and comfortable standard rooms featuring
direct-dial telephone, satellite television and en-suite bathroom.
For a more luxurious stay guests can opt for one of the hotel's
deluxe rooms, recently renovated, with newer furniture and
more modern amenities, including refrigerator and mini-bar.
Many of the hotel's rooms offer a panoramic view of the Izmailovo
Park and nearby lake.
There are 4 main buildings Alfa, Beta, Gamma and Delta (also
Vega).
The enormous complex was built in 1979 on the site of the
historic Izmailovo village and Royal Estate, where Peter The
Great grew up. It was renovated in 1998. During the 1980 Moscow
Olympics the complex was used to accommodate many of the athletes
