Oktiabrskaya Hotel is located in the very center of Saint Petersburg at the Moscow RailwayTerminal on Crossing Nevsky and Ligovsky avenues. The Nevsky Avenue - the central highway of the city famous monuments, museums, theatres, the best restaurants, shops and cinemas. North-bound pedestrians will get to the Nevsky prospect and the Fontanka river embankment, the Beloselsky-Belozersky palace, Anichkov bridge, "Passage" and "Gostiny Dvor" department stores. The main building of the Hotel was erected in the middle of the 19th century. Today restored "Oktiabrskaya" hotel offers accommodation in 659 rooms including suite, junior suite, single, twin and triple rooms. All rooms (refurnished in 2001) have bathroom, telephone, TV-set, radio, refrigerator, and safe. They are furnished in modern style; there is no air conditioning.

Affiliated building of the hotel "Oktiabrskaya" is located on Ligovsky Avenue 41/83, in front of the main building. All rooms of the affiliated building were completely refurbished in 2001 and meet all the international standards of quality. The only difference between rooms of the main and the affiliated building is that the latter are smaller.

The Hotel restaurants offer a fine cuisine, capable to satisfy any taste. Food and drinks may be delivered to the room, upon your request. In spring 2001 in the main building a cafe was opened ("Sweedish Table"), it may provide breakfast four about 300 guests.
